MARK IN ACTION!!

See for yourself what an impact I'm having on America's teenagers.

Of course, any excellent youth leader leads by example. Here, I demonstrate good sportsmanship as I congratulate a teen who had just beat me at golf for the first time.

Here I am with two guys I've invested time in. You can see for yourself what a positive influence I am on America's young people.

I'm am constantly at war with the minions of Satan. Here is a minion I had just apprehended. And how could I tell he was a follower of the Evil One? Was it the black clothes? Was it the demonic smirk on his face? NO. It was because he was wearing the Purple Focus of All Evil himself!

You never know what dangers lurk for the youth leader on the edge. Here Mark bravely flees the AA* class UFO above his head.

The youth leader on the go is well organized! Here Mark looks for his wallet.

The conscientious youth leader remembers that the parents of those kids he drives around are entrusting the precious lives of their children to him. So, of course, I am a careful driver.

Seriously, what happened back in 1987 is I was driving on a wet road in Tasmania and a curve snuck up on me because I was taking in all the wild scenery. I went into a controlled skid. But a tire blew out, turning the controlled skid into a near-death experience. I felt the car begin going down into a river gorge. And as everything was happening slow-motion, I thought in a strangely detached way, "I'm about to die." But the cable you see there stopped the fall.

I learned three things:

1. I don't fear death. 'Cause I felt no fear during the accident or afterwards. I think the reason for that is I know when I die I'm going to a better place because of Jesus.

2. God must have some reason to keep me around.

3. Pay attention to the stinking road.

Actually, I learned a fourth thing: Check the tires on rental cars, especially overseas.

And I really am a careful driver.
