Hey, I want to expand this page to include a lot of cool bands that nobody knows about. If that sounds like you, you have a cool (and clean) site, and you'd like to link me, then e-mail me at mark at godknows99 dot com.
God Knows What It's Like to be a Teenager
Which you have probably seen. But in case you haven't, there you go. Big site. Lots to see.
My somewhat pointyheaded blog on both churchly and worldly things
The site for my next book.
Just a portal site for now.
It will be really cool...when I get around to working more on it. Really.
For all your sand castle needs. Includes sand castle lessons in the Corpus Christi / Port Aransas area.
Family store run out of a home. Focus on supplying homes and Christian schools. They go to a lot of bookfairs and conventions. You can even get my book from them.
sister site to In His Steps

Ryan has done some of the images for my site, and my book cover. His web work is very creative as you can see on his site.
Nope, it's not the Simpsons, but a Simpson who is a cool friend of mine.
Al can do almost anything with a straight face, including his web site. Lots here.
big Christian teen community with lots of links and more
one of the best Christian music oriented sites out there with lots of message boards and articles.
big slime-free Christian community geared toward post-moderns. Lots of brain food. It has one of my articles, too.
emphasis on hard music and unwimpy ministry.
focusing on the Texas-Oklahoma Christian punk scene
my favorite radio station
excellent radio that airs on 89.7 PowerFM and nationwide
In Arlington, Texas, this place puts on a lot of cool shows for the kids.
Good Christian music venues in Dallas and Ft. Worth.
Three teen punk guys from Plano, Texas of all places. Fun punk rock! Their second CD, an EP called eeeeeee.p is now out.
This band is probably Communist. The webmaster and bassist rants about David Bowie in his sleep and plays with his food.
Fun young punk band out of Dallas. And they have a cool web site with mp3s and lots of media stuff.
Cool band out of Lewisville. A lot of power in their music.
Punkish band that sounds great on their cd and live. I know 'cause I heard them three times on the Electric Youth Tour.
Official site of Relient K. I enjoyed them on the Electric Youth Tour. And, in both their fun and serious songs, they are among the best lyricists around.
a good Relient K fan site.
Christian rapper and cool guy. His lyrics really capture a lot of stuff teens go through. So I used them some in my book...which John really likes, by the way.
Fun music, fun people, fun site. And they've helped me big time with my book. That's cool enough for me. They have broken up, but watch out for their last CDs.
They've apparently broken up, but their site is still there.
Excellent ska band from Denton, Texas. But they have split up now. *sigh*
Hardcore band with emo/goth influences. Hmm, so anger and depression really do go together.
Hard core band with an awesome hard core message. Not to be confused with shmucks for you which is the youth ministry I'm in. :^D
Two Ton Fish (or just Two Ton)
Halibut checking these guys out. Not just a quality hard band, but quality guys. They gave up a plum gig in Deep Ellum Dallas to play at a Denton benefit to help send some teens to China.
Cali teen punk band. Formerly Holy Molie and is now not Big Brown Suitcase. They became Round the Corner. But now they are not that, either. There are now....
I wonder how long this name lasts. They sound good though, even if they can't make up their minds. Fun Cali punk band.
Hardcore band with a cool site out of Wichita Falls. Yeah, you heard me right.
Of course.
MxPx's first record company. Lots of good punk and hardcore bands. Cool, cheap comps (titled Songs from the Penalty Box).
Home of Left Out and other kick-butt Christian bands.
Cool zine with emphasis on Pennsylvania hardcore. Lots there.
Incredible amount of information and links on the hard Christian music scene.
has lots of information with photos on the persecution of Christians world wide.
The happy little dictator's page
Senator's drive for world domination didn't quite work out. And now the site is down. I had nothing to do with any of it, by the way. Nothing whatsoever. Yup. Nothing.
Sent's random diary, now no more. By the way, any resemblance between the names Sent and Senator are STRICTLY coincidental. Neither he nor I had anything with the failed putsch for world domination. Not a thing.
The site of my favorite golfer, Aussie Aaron Baddeley. As a teenager, he won the Australian Open -- twice. Watch out, Tiger.
A site of Gothic proportions by a goth girl.
YOUTH GROUPS AND CHURCHES
Hey, sounds like a church where I belong! This is a real church in Denver, by the way. Reese Roper of Five Iron Frenzy is a leader. I so want to visit there sometime.
Unique church started as and based on small groups, rather than on big church meetings.
Lots of good stuff for those involved in youth ministry and for youth, too. I use this site a lot.
Big site with a lot of resourses for youth ministers and youth. The webmaster is cool, too.

This movie is definately worth checking out, especially for fathers.
Place to find cool t-shirts, visors etc.
Directory with links to camps, music festivals, jobs, movers etc. Big site.

Where you can read tomorrow's news today -- for real
